Conditions PHP can support

The Partial Hospitalization Program may support adults experiencing:

Mental Health Conditions

Including anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, mood instability, emotional dysregulation, grief, and other mental health concerns.

Substance Use Disorders

Support for alcohol use, drug use, relapse prevention, early recovery stabilization, and ongoing recovery development.

Dual Diagnosis and Co-Occurring Conditions

Integrated treatment for adults experiencing both mental health symptoms and substance use concerns.

Behavioral Addictions

Support for gambling concerns, sex and love addiction patterns, pornography-related concerns, technology addiction, and other compulsive behaviors.

Trauma and PTSD

Trauma-informed care for adults whose symptoms and behaviors are connected to difficult life experiences.

Many clients entering PHP are managing multiple concerns simultaneously. Our treatment model is built for that complexity.

How PHP works

Every client receives an individualized treatment plan based on clinical need, goals, history, strengths, support systems, and progress.

Daily Group Therapy

Clinician-led groups focused on emotional regulation, communication, recovery skills, accountability, relapse prevention, trauma-informed healing, and practical application.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one sessions that address personal goals, treatment barriers, relationships, trauma, recovery planning, and emotional growth.

Psychiatric Support

Psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and clinical monitoring when appropriate.

Family Involvement

Family support and therapy may be incorporated when clinically appropriate and beneficial to treatment goals.

Experiential and Skills-Based Work

Clients may participate in psychoeducation, mindfulness practices, emotional regulation training, and experiential therapies designed to support long-term change.

A structured week of support

PHP is designed to provide meaningful clinical engagement throughout the week.

While treatment plans are individualized, programming may include up to 30 hours of treatment per week and often takes place Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Services are adjusted based on each client's needs and progress.

The purpose of this structure is not simply to keep clients busy. It is to provide consistent support during a period when stability, skill development, and accountability are most needed.

Real-world recovery with clinical support

One of the advantages of PHP is that clients remain connected to real life while receiving intensive care.

Clients return home or to supportive living environments each day, creating opportunities to practice recovery skills, navigate relationships, manage stress, and apply therapeutic tools in real-world settings.

These experiences become part of treatment, allowing the clinical team to help clients adjust strategies and strengthen recovery as challenges arise.
